Day 01 Arrival Delhi
On arrival traditional welcome & transfer to hotel. O/n at
hotel.
Day 02 Delhi
After breakfast full day combined city tour of Delhi, a melting
pot of cultures and traditions, religions and castes, visiting
Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat, India Gate, President House
(From Outside) Humayun's Tomb, and Qutab Minar. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 03 Delhi / Jaipur (265/4.3 Kms/Hrs (Aprox.))
After breakfast drive to Jaipur, the vibrant capital of
Rajasthan, is popularly known as ' The Pink City' for the colour
of the buildings in its wonderful old city. This Buzzing
metropolis is certainly a place of wild contrasts and is a feast
for the eyes. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Rest of the time
free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 Jaipur
Morning after Breakfast visit Amer Fort & enjoy ride on a
caparisoned elephant up to the Amber Fort established in the
16th century by Raja Man Singh of the Kachwaha dynasty. Within
the Amber Fort are ornate palaces, courts, stairways, pillared
pavilions & palaces & drive past the stunning artistry
of the five-story façade of the Hawa Mahal. Afternoon
visit the City Palace, the museum houses textiles, arms,
carpets, paintings and manuscripts and other artistic
paraphernalia & Astronomical observatory, built by Maharaja
Jai Singh the founder of Jaipur, also visit Observatory &
pass through Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Evening free &

Day 05 Jaipur/ Agra (235/5 Kms/Hrs (Aprox.))
Morning
after breakfast drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri,
constructed by Akbar in 1569 to honor Sufi saint Salim Chisti.
Akbar's court occupied this city till it was abandoned due to
non-availability of water but still in a state of perfect
preservation. Continue on to Agra. Upon arrival check into
hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 Agra
After
breakfast half day city tour of Agra visiting world famous Taj
Mahal- (closed on Fridays) built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan in
the memory of his beautiful wife Mumtaj. Continue onto Agra
Fort-built by Mughal emperor Akbar to commemorate his victory in
war. Rest of the time free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 Agra / Gwalior / Orchha (220 / 5 Kms/Hrs (Aprox.))
After breakfast drive to Orchha for visiting temple, situated on
the banks of Betwa River, Orchha was founded by the Rajput
Chieftain Rudra Pratap in the 16th century enroute visit
Gwalior, the fort city of northern Madhya Pradesh, lives with
splendor of the ancient glory that once was part of it. Even
today the royalties of Gwalior live in the forts and the
palaces. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 Orcha - Khajuraho (180/4 Kms/Hrs (Aprox.))
After
breakfast drive to Khajuraho famous for its erotic sculptures,
the temples of Khajuraho tell something more than the eroticism
it portrays. Upon arrival check in to hotel. In tine evening
visit Western group of Temples, these temples were built during
the Chandela period, a dynasty that survived for five centuries
before falling to the Mughal on slaught. The temples are superb
examples of Indo-Aryan architecture, but it's the decorations
with which they are so liberally embellished that have made
Khajuraho famous. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 Khajuraho - Varanasi (Flight)
After
breakfast time free at leisure. In time transfer to Airport to
board flight 9W 724 (Dep: 1330 Arr: 1410 hrs) to Varanasi, the
city of Shiva, on the bank of the sacred Ganges is one of the
hokiest places in India. Hindu Pilgrims come to bate in the
waters of the Ganges, a ritual that washes away all sins. The
city is an auspicious place to die, since expiring here offers
Moksha liberation from the cycle of birth and death. It's a
magical city where the most intimate rituals of life and death
take place in public on the city's famous ghats. In past, the
city has been known as Kashi & Benares, but its present name
is a restoration of an ancient name meaning the city between two
rivers - Varuna and Assi. Upon arrival check into hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 Varanasi
Early morning boat ride on the river Ganges, return back to
hotel for wash & change and Breakfast. Later visit Banaras
Hindu University, Tulsi Manas temple & Bharat Mata temple.
In the evening excursion tour to Sarnath where Buddha delivered
his first sermon. Return back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 Varanasi / Delhi (Flight)
Morning
free at leisure. In time transfer to Airport to board flight 9W
724 (Dep: 1440 Arr: 1600 hrs.), to Delhi, upon arrival transfer
to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 Delhi / Onward destination
In time transfer to International Airport to connect flight to
onward destination. (DEPART)
